Moeke Mooren is the place to be for a delicious breakfast, a tasty lunch or a cosy drink. The restaurant has several atmospheric spots where you can relax with a cup of coffee during the day and enjoy an extensive dinner in the evening. In the open kitchen, the chef and his team prepare the most delicious dishes from French-Dutch cuisine. They take the season into account and like to use local delicacies.

When the weather is nice, you can enjoy not only delicious food on the panoramic terrace, but also spectacular views of the lively water and nature reserve. Moeke Mooren is child-friendly and offers plenty of entertainment for young and old: from a children's playground to a cosy bowling alley. Want to enjoy yourself with the whole family? You can, of course, at Moeke Mooren!

You can hire bicycles at the hotel and, from spring onwards, tenders and boats, which are ideal for exploring the De Gouden Ham recreation and nature area from the water. And right next to Moeke Mooren is Strand Goud, our latest addition: an atmospheric spot by the water where you can relax with a drink, your feet in the sand and the most beautiful view. Here you can also rent SUPs, perfect for a sporty and refreshing outing on the water.

Rooms

Hotel Moeke Mooren has standard rooms, comfort rooms and luxury suites. They are all tastefully decorated and have a double bed, television, a seating area, a safe, air conditioning, coffee and tea making facilities, wireless internet and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. The luxury suite has a duo bubble bath. Some rooms have a balcony. Rooms for disabled people are also available here; these can be booked on request.

At Moeke Mooren, you are in the heart of the Land van Maas en Waal, right on the Meuse. For a long time, the Gelderland Rivierenland was a forgotten part of the Netherlands. Not so long ago, almost no one knew how beautifully the dykes meander through the landscape here, or how impressively the blue skies contrast with the peaceful villages. Villages where people earned their living in the brick factories for decades and life passed by at a leisurely pace.

Thanks to Boudewijn de Groot and his famous song, the rest of the Netherlands finally discovered what had remained hidden here all this time: the beautiful Land of Maas and Waal.

To explore this beautiful area, you can choose from various walking, cycling and sailing routes. Feel free to ask about them at the Moeke Mooren reception. You can also reach the charming town of Tiel in no time. And when you're surrounded by so much water, it makes sense to get out and explore! At Moeke Mooren, you have that opportunity: rent a bicycle, tender or boat and discover the Gouden Ham from the water.

Right next to Moeke Mooren, you will find Strand Goud, a charming spot on the water where you can relax with a drink, enjoy the view or get active on the water with a SUP board. The perfect end to a day full of outdoor fun!
